BSBE and Abbott China Sign the Strategic Cooperation Agreement

Beijing Strong Biotechnologies,Inc,(Abbreviated to BSBE)and Abbott Trading (Shanghai) Co.,Ltd. (Abbreviated to Abbott) signed strategic cooperation agreement on Clinical Biochemistry reagents project in Beijing on December 17th, 2013, which means Abbott will sell biochemistry reagents from Beijing in China. As the industry leader of clinical biochemistry reagents in China, BSBE is with the capacity to produce full range of products, and quality is in the leading level in the domestic market.
BSBE and Abbott is dedicated to the cooperation on heart, kidney and liver diseases, which are the focus of China’s chronic diseases prevention. Through this cooperation, Abbott can provide a more comprehensive and flexible biochemical detection menu choices for Chinese users, and BSBE provided reagents assay with bar code labels to match Abbott Laboratories biochemical analysis platform, which will enable customer to more simple and effective operation, avoiding mistakes; to help improve the process, to provide customers with reliable laboratory test results.
Zou Zuojun, the chairman of BSBE said: " Thank Abbott China for choosing BSBE as their localized strategic partner in China market. BSBE can broaden its customer base, more importantly, learn valuable experience on product quality management, new products marketing, customer service and other aspects by providing products for Abbott ARCHITECT platform( Abbott Laboratories Testing System).” Up to 2013 , BSBE has been nine consecutive years on the list of Forbes development plans 863 projects. Currently, BSBE reagents have passed the Abbott Laboratories biochemical analysis platform validation. The reagents covers liver function, renal function, blood lipids and myocardial products ect, can meet the needs of the clinical routine testing and strict traceability.

Abbott hopes to achieve the dual improve on laboratory efficiency and patient satisfaction by cooperating with Chinese company. The cooperation between BSBE and Abbott China broaden the channel for Chinese customer acquisition products and services, provide more flexible options for the majority of users, allow more medical laboratories to use BSBE and Abbott advanced clinical biochemistry reagents better. This is one crucial step towards localization for Abbott Diagnostics, which laid a solid foundation for cooperation and development of Sino-foreign diagnostic business.
